LS Chamber Advocacy.

One Network. One Voice.

Advocacy is at the forefront of what we do. As the unified voice of the Lee’s Summit business community, we represent our members’ interests on issues that matter most.

By communicating the needs of local businesses to all levels of government, we influence policies, regulations, and decisions that are crucial to creating an environment that will help businesses thrive.

We Provide Legislative Advocacy

The Lee’s Summit Chamber remains actively engaged in, and committed to, representing the business community. Our Chamber partners continuously with all levels of government to promote business-friendly strategies for our members.

We monitor legislative and political affairs constantly, striving to provide you with pertinent information to assist you as you make day-to-day decisions that affect your business.

We Advocate for Your Priorities

The Lee’s Summit Chamber serves its members by creating a dynamic business environment prioritizing leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and success in the Lee’s Summit community.

We Host Annual Advocacy Events

Each year we provide important events to engage our members and the community in local legislative details.

Advocacy Day | Feb/Mar

Members of the Chamber’s Legislative Committee, as well as the board of directors, are invited to join other
local chamber organizations for a day of advocacy in Jefferson City. Attendees meet with legislators and
committee chairs to discuss important topics such as education, economic development, transportation and
health care.

Meeting Details: February/March.

as well as general elections. These events give the public an opportunity to meet the candidates and also hear
their positions on certain issues so they can make an educated vote.
