Three local businesses were recipients of the Lee's Summit Chamber Res in Motus (Business in Motion) Business of the Year Award at the monthly membership luncheon on May 21. The three award winners include: candid marketing & communications (five or less employees); Summit Strength Physical Therapy, LLC (6-15 employees); and Lee's Summit Community Christian School (over 15 employees).

They are privately owned and provide outpatient physical therapy to patients ranging from infants to older adults and with diagnoses that span basic orthopedics to advanced neurological conditions.
